New vehicle for PCSO rural team

A new vehicle has been loaned to a team of Police Community Support Officers in Tewkesbury to help them patrol their more rural communities.

The Mitsubishi Colt will be used to patrol remote villages such as Chaceley in the west and Snowshill in the east.

Pc Phil Groom said: "The vehicle is ideal to allow officers to get involved with these communities where then can get to know them.

"We need to engage with these harder to reach rural communities."
